As we look back and reflect on 2017 we wanted to take a moment and thank all of our clients for their trust and confidence in our firm. We value the relationships we build here at Dechtman Wealth Management more and more every year. It is humbling to know that we are surrounded by so many unique, caring and delightful individuals. At Dechtman Wealth Management, we believe we have a commitment to not only serving our clients, but also our community. We have created a culture of helping those less fortunate and are dedicated to making the world a better place. Our firm takes great pride in actively participating in several nonprofit organizations through the Denver-Metro Area. A few of the charities we work with and continue to support are Food Bank of The Rockies, Toys for Tots, The Morgan Adams Foundation and Anchor Center for Blind Children. We are fortunate enough to host several client appreciation events throughout the year in which we give our clients the opportunity to participate in supporting several of these organizations as well. One of these events takes place every November at a local movie theatre. Our firm rents out a single theatre for an evening to play a recent blockbuster hit for all of our clients.
We ask that each client bring a canned food item to donate to Food Bank of The Rockies. Food Bank of the Rockies helps families thrive by efficiently procuring and distributing food and essentials to the hungry through their programs and partner agencies. The support and participation never ceases to amaze us. This year we donated over 400 pounds of food and essentials!
Our annual holiday party is another event where we give back to the community. Each year we host this event at a different location and each year it gets better and better. During this event, we ask that our clients bring an unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots. The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.
This year we hosted our holiday party at Littleton Town Arts Center and had a great time watching “Seussical the Musical.” Again, our clients out did themselves with the enormous participation. Sam Dechtman had to make multiple trips to the donation center due to the overwhelming number of toys we collected. We could not make any of this possible without our clients. Every year we look for more opportunities to serve the members of our community. This was a goal we set as a company over 30 years ago, and we promise to keep pushing it forward.
